In a ceremony at the White House, President Lyndon Johnson presented the Medal of Honor to 5 men for heroism while serving with the army in Vietnam. The heroes are, LTR: 1st Sgt. David H. McNerney , 37, Lowell, Mass.; Spc/4 Raymond R. Wright , 22, Mineville, N.Y.; Sgt. Leonard B. Keller , 21, Rockford, Ill.; S/Sgt. Delbert O. Jennings , 32, Stockton, Calif.; and S/Sgt. Kenneth E. Stumpf , 23, Menasha, Wis.; and Gen. Earle Wheeler, chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff. September 19, 1968

Here President Johnson congratulates Army Spec. 5 Charles Chris Hagemeister , Lincoln Nebraska. Other recipients are: Navy Boatswain's Mate 1/c James E. Williams Air Force Captain Gerald O Young , and Sergeant Richard Allan Pittman of the Marine Corps.
